Program requirements

Everything you need to know to apply for the Healthcare Analytics Fellowship.

The fellowship is designed for candidates with a master's degree in a related field — including MHA, MBA with a healthcare concentration, MPH, PharmD, MSHI, or MHI — who have completed an internship within a medical setting. Strong quantitative and analytical skills, along with project management capabilities, are essential.

Applications require a resume, a one-page personal statement, and one letter of recommendation. Candidates who advance to final interviews are also required to submit a project portfolio that demonstrates analytical and strategic capabilities.

The Healthcare Analytics Fellowship is a one-year program based in Chicago. Two positions are available per cycle. Fellows work directly with Vizient's Comparative Data and Performance Improvement team, gaining hands-on experience in quantitative analysis, product strategy, and member-focused innovation.
