About Justin
In his role as associate principal on the Vizient Strategy Intelligence team, Justin Cassidy serves as a trusted adviser to strategy leaders at more than a third of the nation’s hospitals, including more than 70 academic medical centers. He collaborates with healthcare managers to convene stakeholders and facilitate discussions between clinical, financial, and administrative leaders. During his tenure at Vizient, Cassidy has led both the medicine and surgery service line teams; advises on how (or if) emerging technology will impact healthcare; follows pharmacy strategy; and leads research on enterprise topics for AMCs. He earned a PhD in biomedical sciences from Northwestern University and an AB in biological sciences from the University of Chicago. Additionally, he holds certificates in data science from Northwestern’s McCormick School of Engineering and from the Management for Scientists and Engineers “mini MBA” program at Northwestern’s Kellogg School of Management.
