About Gurmeet
Gurmeet Bawa is a consulting director on the capital strategic sourcing team within the indirect spend business unit at Vizient. In his current role, he advises health care organizations on capital spend by partnering with suppliers and providing insights into emerging trends and innovations in care delivery, enabling clients to make informed long-term strategic capital decisions. He brings nearly a decade of experience from his previous role at Vizient Strategy Intelligence (formerly, Sg2) where he contributed to the development and delivery of imaging, neurosciences, and spine service line strategy through white papers, webinars, and the annual Impact of Change® forecast.
Prior to joining Vizient, Gurmeet worked as a research associate in strategy consulting at Stax Inc. His role was to develop primary research and utilize secondary resources to facilitate client decisions as well as assist in due diligence for client mergers and acquisitions. He also leverages experience in life science market research and has an extensive background teaching for the Princeton Review.
Gurmeet graduated from Loyola University Chicago with a BS in biological sciences and received his MS in biomedical science with a concentration in health professions education from Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science.
