Chad Mitchell is vice president of core essentials at Vizient, where he leads strategy, contracting, and program execution across medical and surgical product categories that are fundamental to the day-to-day operations of health systems. Since joining Vizient in 2018, he has played a pivotal role in advancing the organization’s sourcing and supply chain strategy, including leading the COVID-19 Response War Room that mobilized a cross-functional team of more than 60 subject matter experts, sourcing professionals, and clinicians. Mitchell earned a Bachelor of Science degree in business management from Washington State University.
