Carolyn Larsen brings 40 years of experience in the healthcare industry. In her role as a senior category manager, she manages highly complex laboratory categories, plans bid strategies, and forecasts the budget for the categories she is responsible for. She is the point of contact for all aspects of her categories for suppliers, members, and internal Vizient staff. Larsen earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Illinois Benedictine College and is a medical technologist (now referred to as a medical laboratory scientist) accredited by the American Society of Clinical Pathologists.
