About Michael
Michael Warden is an Assistant Vice President at Kaufman Hall and a member of the firm’s Treasury and Capital Markets practice. He provides analytical and quantitative support to not-for-profit hospitals and health systems nationwide, focusing primarily on tax-exempt and taxable bond financings, capital structure management, and credit positioning. Mr. Warden also provides support for derivative transactions, including valuation, accounting, and strategy.
Michael previously worked as an Analyst at Ponder & Co. for the Capital Advisory Group, where he evaluated the financial performance of hospitals and healthcare systems, analyzed credit and debt capacity, and provided quantitative analysis in structuring complex financial transactions.
Michael holds a B.A. in Economics and a B.A. in Classical and Mediterranean Studies from Vanderbilt University; he is a registered Municipal Advisor (Series 50).
