About Liz

Liz Banick is a Principal at Vizient with 15 years of experience leading healthcare transformation. She is a strategic leader with a focus on bringing together data, expertise, and scalable solutions to turn fragmented information into measurable financial and operational results.

Banick has directed complex cost reduction and operational improvement engagements for some of the nation’s largest health systems, identifying and implementing value across multiple service lines. She currently leads Vizient’s Purchased Services Analytics platform, which helps health systems identify opportunities involving utilization, contract performance, and operational effectiveness.

Before joining Vizient, Banick led non-clinical supply chain improvement projects at Huron Consulting Group. She holds a bachelor’s degree from the University at Buffalo and is a Certified Materials and Resource Professional and Lean Six Sigma black belt.
