Ella Dixon, MPH
About Ella
Ella received her bachelor's degree in psychology with a minor in creative writing from Vanderbilt University and her Master of Public Health in Health Policy and Administration, along with a certificate in Geospatial Analysis and Visualization, from the University of Illinois Chicago (UIC). At UIC, she served as President of the Public Health Student Association and worked as a Graduate Research Assistant with the NIH P20-funded Center for Extreme Conditions and Health Excellence. Her interest in healthcare grew through public service and research, beginning with her work supporting the Nashville Metro Department of Public Health's COVID-19 response. At Vizient, she has contributed to policy-focused research and analytics, including scenario modeling of proposed Medicaid legislation and analyses examining social drivers of post-firearm injury emergency department recidivism. Ella is passionate about using data-driven insights to advance healthcare quality, access, and patient outcomes.
