How honorees are selected

Honorees are identified through two rigorous paths. Metrics-based recognition uses comprehensive Vizient performance analysis, evaluating contract utilization, value optimization, program participation, analytics engagement, cost savings, year-over-year improvement and strategic sourcing alignment. Nomination-based recognition follows a formal review process, with anonymized submissions evaluated against criteria including innovation, enterprise impact, outcomes, collaboration and leadership.

Honorees are identified through comprehensive Vizient performance analysis. Organizations are evaluated using data related to contract utilization and compliance, value optimization, program participation, analytics engagement, cost savings opportunities, year-over-year improvement and strategic sourcing alignment.

Organizations and leaders are recognized through a formal nomination and rigorous review process. Submissions are anonymized and evaluated by a committee against defined criteria, which may include innovation and originality, enterprise impact, measurable outcomes, collaboration, leadership, sustainability of results and scalability across the organization.

The Spend Management Visionary awards celebrate extraordinary leadership, collaboration and value-driving performance. The program recognizes transformational strategic action, measurable outcomes, collaboration and enterprise impact, advancing spend management excellence through strategic partnership, innovation and measurable impact.
