Our methodology

A multi-source methodology for measuring excellence

Our composite scoring system combines practice and patient-level data from three trusted sources to evaluate ambulatory care performance. The AAMC-Vizient Clinical Practice Solutions Center, Vizient Access and Throughput data, and the Vizient Clinical Data Base work together to create a comprehensive picture of performance across all five domains. Together, these sources deliver a robust, multidimensional view of organizational excellence.
