• Sick 2D Smart Camera and Allen Bradley PLC
• Allen Bradley Touch Screen HMI for easy user interface and diagnostics
• Bar code scanner to scan build tag that is attached to parts
• Scanner is linked w/ factory supply management system and returns option code data to PLC
• Camera identifies the part that is physically installed
• PLC verifies that the part installed matches the build criteria for the given assembly
• Once verification is received, it allows the assembly to move on to the next build station
• If positive verification is not received, an electro-mechanical lockout prevents the assembly from moving to the next stage of the build cycle
